The innovative smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector will still keep you safe without driving you crazy. It features voice notifications (giving you a better sense of how to respond to the alarm), a glowing status ring (changes color letting you know if everything is ok or if there is a potential problem or emergency), a pathlight function (automatically lights your path at night) and a hands-free button for false alarms(simply wave your hand a few times toward Nest Protect to silence it).
