BMW‘s newest motorcycle, the S 1000 R is a sports roadster with pared-down styling. Based on the S 1000 RR model, the bike houses a liquid-cooled 999 cc four-cylinder in-line engine with 160 horsepower. With the option of two standard riding modes for rain and road, Automatic Stability Control (ASC) and race ABS, the S 1000 R makes for a much safer ride. The dynamic sports roadster design extends to race-inspired features with a multifunctional instrument cluster, including an LC display with analog rev counter. The S 1000 R is available in three colorways including non-metallic red, white, and metallic dark blue.
