The good folks at Benz have really outdone themselves this time. After giving us a sneak peek last year, the German luxury car maker has pulled the curtain back on the much anticipated 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupe, and it’s everything we hoped for.
What used to be the CL-class, is now the S-Class coupe. Everything you love in the brand’s flagship luxury sedan has now been packed into a massive (197.1 inches long and 74.76 inches wide) coupe. To help power the S550 model is a 4.7-liter biturbo V8 engine generating 449 horsepower along with 516 lb-ft of torque. The new S-Class also comes equipped with the innovative “Magic Body Control” adaptive suspension system that curves and tilts with the roads, which in turn helps reduce the lateral acceleration felt by drivers and passengers.
If that wasn’t enough awesomeness for you, the S-Class also sports 47 Swarosvski crystal headlights – although “regular” LED headlights are also available. The vehicle will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and is expected to carry a window sticker price tag of $116,000. Just imagine how awesome the AMG version is going to be?
