There’s a new Mercedes on its way, officially revealed today as the 2015 Mercedes C-Class. This all-new Mercedes features a fresh design from headlight to taillight, along with a refreshed interior and refined engineering under the hood. This, the most popular vehicle of the Mercedes-Benz offering, is primed to present an even wider appeal to the next generation of Mercedes driver in late 2014.
The new 2015 Mercedes C-Class features a re-imagined design from head to toe. The shape is true to the familiar form of a Mercedes, but the edges and design elements are more defined, providing a subtly aggressive appeal to this luxury-class family car. The interior is defined by a large, centrally-located multimedia display above the one-piece center console. Like a tablet computer affixed to the center column, this system allows driver and passenger alike to control entertainment, information about the ride and navigation systems during their driving experience.
Under the hood, the new Mercedes C-Class offers a pair of engine options, either a 235-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 or a 329-hp 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6. Both options provide plenty of pickup while ensuring efficient, emission-conscious driving. It’s one thing to accelerate quickly from a standing start — which this new Mercedes does in a heartbeat — but it also provides up to 30mpg, a first for the C-Class.
The new 2015 Mercedes C-Class will begin arriving at dealerships in the fall of 2015. While pricing has not yet been detailed, you can expect it to match the roughly $40k of the previous C-Class models available today.
